The Melbourne Waste Resource and Recovery Group (MWRRG) and Negotiation Partners

The Melbourne Waste Resource and Recovery Group (MWRRG), the government agency responsible for coordinating the delivery of waste management and recycling services across the Melbourne metropolitan area, has just announced a landmark contract to secure recycling and reliable disposal of landfill for the next 4-8 years. The contracts, which manage over 940,000 tonnes of Melbourne’s household waste, bring together the largest number of councils ever to participate in a collaborative procurement in Victoria.
